Office space take-up at a high level of 111,400 sq m in the market area, but below the previous year’s result
- Take-up within the city area of Düsseldorf at 108,000 sq m (-8% y o-y)
- Four transactions of more than 5,000 sq m each have already been registered – only two transactions of that size in Q1 2016
- The beginning of this year was clearly dominated by banks and financial services due to the two largest deals
- Vacancy rate in the market area overall dropped below the 8%-mark for the first time since 2003. Within the city area of Düsseldorf, the vacancy rate was at 7.1%
- The sustainably achievable prime rent increased in a y-o-y comparison; the weighted average rent remained more or less stable
