Company profile
FRANKONIA Eurobau identifies, develops, builds, markets and manages high-end inner-city habitats that comprise residential, office, commercial and hotel properties with highly versatile utilisation and service concepts. A very successful urban and project developer, the company has regional offices in Düsseldorf, Munich, Hamburg, Halle, Cologne and Berlin as well as Zurich and Warsaw. It is currently either planning or executing six premium real estate projects on the Düsseldorf market, every one of which is marked by a unique architectural style.
- FRANKONIA is in the process of realising Düsseldorf’s largest residential project for the high-end market: the Heinrich Heine Gardens – 320 rental and owner-occupied apartments offering a total of 43,000 m² living space.
- An impressive 76 m tall, the SIGN! building, currently being erected in Düsseldorf’s Media Harbour, is set to become the quarter’s tallest building. Designed by the internationally renowned architect Helmut Jahn, this eye-catching construction featuring 12,500 m² of office space (some of which has already been rented) is due for completion in the second quarter of 2010.
- The KWS 183 in Düsseldorf’s Pempelfort district and the Panta Rhei in Airport City are another two office projects which will realise more than 19,000 m².
- Set in the middle of Düsseldorf’s historic Old Town, just a stone’s throw from Burgplatz, the Andreasquartier will be Düsseldorf’s new premium residential quarter. A former district/regional court building will be converted into exclusive luxury apartments, prestigious offices, serviced apartments as well as restaurants and retail space. Construction work will begin in February 2010, after the current tenant has moved out.
- As soon as the required planning permissions have been issued by the City of Düsseldorf, work will start on one of the most ambitious projects to ever be undertaken in Düsseldorf's Media Harbour: the Königskinder building will feature 120 high-class apartments in two 18-storey towers – decorated throughout with art from Düsseldorf’s renowned painter/sculptor Markus Lüpertz.
