Presenting a joint trade show booth together with leading industry partners, the City of Düsseldorf is a regular guest at MIPIM, and also at EXPO REAL in Munich.

During this time, Düsseldorf has built up some strong and reliable partnerships – here at MIPIM, and with its local companies and investors. The city has been free of debt for almost three years now, which means there is excellent scope for sustainable development. Dependable political majorities and a political climate favouring businesses and entrepreneurship add to this security, making us a prime target for investment.

We endeavour to create the ideal environment for companies to do good business: we are constantly investing in infrastructure, the Messe Düsseldorf expo centre and in our international airport. We make sure there is enough space to build new offices and commercial property. And we have cut business and property tax eleven times to reduce the burden on companies. Family-friendly Düsseldorf has also created a welcoming atmosphere for the people who work here – with free kindergartens, green spaces, art and culture, and a rich choice of educational opportunities even for our youngest foreign residents.
