The joint venture partners, Nickl & Partner Architekten AG, Ebert-Ingenieure and Pfefferkorn Ingenieure, are developing the new buildings on the campus of the University of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschule) of Düsseldorf in the Derendorf district through 2014. On this fallow-lying site, an ensemble of five new university buildings and two unused monuments will be transformed into an attactive city quarter with 40.000 sqm of space. New building infrastructure and energy efficient technical systems provide for a future-oriented, productive academic life, which links the green campus to the existing city.
